The Slave trade database, known as SlaveVoyages, is poised to transition to Harvard University, marking a significant leap forward in digital history scholarship.This remarkable platform compiles rigorous research accumulated over four decades and documents more than 30,000 voyages and upwards of 200,000 individuals involved in the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
